2022 Veterans Day Parade
On Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 11am-1pm Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Veterans Advisory Council will honor the courageous men and women of the armed forces at the 23rd annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Orlando. This year’s parade will open with a tribute to those who have fought for our country and defended our freedom, led by Mayor Dyer and local veterans. Following the parade, viewers and participants can continue celebrating and honoring our veterans at the city's first Veterans Day Celebration event from 1-3pm at Lake Eola Park immediately following the parade. Find out where to park and the parade route here.

Orlando Awarded 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Marathon Trials
Orlando will play host to the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials -- Marathon, USA Track & Field (USATF) and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC). Held on February 3, 2024, the U.S. Olympic Team Trials -- Marathon will be the selection event for the USATF Team at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The top three female and male place finishers in the Olympic Trials who have met qualifying performance standards will self-select for the 2024 USATF Olympic squad. Orlando is the first Florida city to be awarded the event. Open Call for Multicultural Holiday Ornaments
For the second year in a row, Mayor Jerry L. Demings invites community members to donate a multicultural holiday ornament to decorate the Orange County's "DiversiTree". Ornaments can be handmade or purchased and they will be displayed on the County Administration Building's holiday tree from mid-November to early January. The delivery deadline will go on until November 14th. You may stop by the Orange County Administration Center to drop off your ornament between 8am-5pm.

Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens, presented by AdventHealth, will transform into a stunning winter wonderland featuring a million dazzling lights, shining forests, magical displays, music, and beautiful sculptures. Immerse yourself in the wonder of the holidays from November 25th to January 1st at 5:30pm - 9pm.
