A native Floridian, Kennedy was born and raised in Orlando and is proud to call Central Florida home. She attended the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College with a degree in Hospitality Management, where she developed a passion for creating meaningful experiences and fostering strong community connections.

Her professional experience has been rooted in the nonprofit sector, where she has focused on relationship-building, member engagement, and community impact. Kennedy is passionate about serving her community and cultivating authentic connections that strengthen both organizations and the people they serve. She believes that meaningful relationships are at the heart of a thriving downtown and enjoys helping members connect, collaborate, and grow through DOP.

When she’s not downtown, Kennedy enjoys spending time with her dogs, visiting local farmers markets on the weekends, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

The museum is also adding two fan-favorite works to its permanent collection, including Kandy G Lopez's "Hispaniola II — Mia" and a donated photograph by David LaChapelle, both debuting at the free Access for All day on June 18. CityArts Orlando Celebrates 20 Years with a Landmark Exhibition
Tonight, June 18 from 6 to 9 PM, Downtown Arts District is opening CityArts Retrospective: Celebrating 20 Years, featuring five concurrent exhibitions, live entertainment, and the debut of a limited-edition commemorative wine created with Assemblage Wine and world-renowned artist Boy Kong.
