James Beard Grand Reception
Celebrate Orlando’s culinary scene at the James Beard Grand Reception at NORMAN’S on Thursday, October 10 from 6–9 p.m. This “Toast to Orlando” event will honor the chefs and restaurants shaping the city's food community with tasting stations, curated pairings, and an evening of connection. The Downtown Orlando Partnership is proud to recognize members Sue and Jason Chin of the Good Salt Restaurant Group, along with Chef Wendy Lopez of Reyes Mezcaleria, Chef Huy Tin of Seito Sushi, and Chef Nikk Burton of The Monroe, for taking part in this special evening. Pink in the Paint Night
The Orlando Magic and AdventHealth are teaming up for the seventh annual Pink in the Paint Night on Saturday, October 12 at 6 p.m. as the Magic face the Miami Heat at Kia Center. The event raises awareness for breast cancer and supports the AdventHealth Foundation’s Breast Care Fund, featuring special donations from TELETIES, survivor recognitions, and player meet-and-greets.
