Thank you to everyone who joined the Downtown Orlando Partnership and Downtown Development Board for Downtown Employee Appreciation Week! From morning coffee stops and lunchtime treats to giveaways, activities, and collectible stickers, we loved spending five days celebrating the people who make downtown Orlando such a special place to work.

An Orlando Landmark Marks Its Next Chapter
Hotel Beauden celebrated its new name with a ribbon cutting alongside Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and community partners. Meaning beautiful, handsome, and graceful, "Beauden" is a nod to Orlando's nickname, The City Beautiful, and to the hotel's place on one of downtown's most prominent corners. The rebrand also introduced Libra, the hotel's new signature restaurant and bar. Congratulations to the Hotel Beauden team on this milestone! Check out the celebration here.
Two-Way Traffic Returns to a Key Downtown Street
For the first time since the 1950s, Magnolia Avenue is running in both directions following the completion of the first phase of the City of Orlando's conversion project. The change makes nearby businesses easier to reach and expands on-street parking from nine spaces to more than 100. Similar upgrades are on the way, including the Church Street Festival Street and future two-way conversions for Orange and Rosalind avenues. Learn more here.

New Installations Debuting at Dazzling Nights
Dazzling Nights, presented by AdventHealth, is returning November 20 through January 3 with a new set of immersive experiences. Guests can follow illuminated ribbon pathways to a 74-foot Arctic wildlife scene, stroll the red-lit Poinsettia Promenade, and spot glowing forest spirits among eight animal species. Private event bookings are also available, giving businesses a memorable setting for corporate holiday parties, client gatherings, and team celebrations under the lights. Yoga in the Galleries
The Orlando Museum of Art is hosting Yoga in the Galleries on Sunday, September 27, beginning with a 4 PM highlights tour of the collection. Afterward, College Park Yoga will lead a 4:30 PM practice surrounded by the museum's artwork. Enjoy a relaxing end to the weekend while experiencing the galleries from a new perspective. Raíz: A Collaborative Dinner Honoring Latin Roots
Reyes Mezcaleria is hosting Raíz on October 14, a one-night-only, five-course evening pairing Chef Partner Wendy Lopez with acclaimed Puerto Rican chef Mario Pagán. Created in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the menu draws on the heritage, traditions, and Latin flavors that have shaped each chef's cooking, with stories shared throughout the night. An optional Mexican wine pairing is also available, and seating is limited. Reserve your spot here.
4th Annual Harvest Festival
4Roots Farm is hosting its fourth annual Harvest Festival on October 24 from 9 AM to 2 PM. Guests can enjoy live music, food vendors, a farmers market, a pumpkin patch, and U-Pick veggie and flower fields. Kids, groups, and pets can also compete in costume contests, with winners taking home gift bags from local businesses. This event is free to attend, but registration is requested.
