Camping World Stadium Renovation Renderings Unveiled
DLR Group has finalized the design for the $400 million downtown stadium renovation. The 650,000-square-foot project expands seating to more than 65,000 and adds premium suites, a new North Endzone Club, and upgraded fan amenities throughout the venue. Construction is on track for completion by summer 2027, with Florida Citrus Sports confirming its three annual bowl games will still take place at the stadium this fall despite ongoing construction. The City of Orlando is proposing a new incentive program to encourage developers to restore and reuse historic buildings downtown. The Downtown Historic Redevelopment Incentive Program would offer a 10-year tax rebate of 50% to 75% for qualifying projects that invest at least $5 million and preserve key façade features. The program targets the Downtown Historic District, an eight-block area encompassing more than 90 buildings. Read more here.
