Visit Orlando Honored at the 25th Annual Golden Eagle Dinner
Visit Orlando was recognized as the corporate honoree at the 25th Annual Golden Eagle Dinner benefiting the Central Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, with President and CEO Casandra Matej accepting the award on behalf of the company. Redesigned Holocaust Museum for Hope & Humanity Moves Forward in Orlando
The Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida has unveiled a new plan to repurpose the former chamber of commerce building into a museum, with a groundbreaking targeted for later this year and a soft opening planned for January 2028. Having already raised $44 million of its $63 million goal, the project is being designed by HuntonBrady Architects and will feature an interactive core exhibit documenting the stories of 10 Holocaust survivors who settled in Central Florida.
