Record-Breaking $398K Raised Through Magical Dining Program
Visit Orlando's Magical Dining raised a record $398,307 for local charities, a 13% increase over 2024. The program featured over 160 restaurants, including 15 MICHELIN Guide honorees, with up to $2 from each meal supporting the REED Charitable Foundation's literacy initiatives and six additional Orange County nonprofits. Since launching its charity component in 2009, Magical Dining has raised nearly $3.3 million for local causes while showcasing Orlando's culinary excellence. Read more here.

Lowndes Expands Statewide with Rossway Swan Acquisition
Lowndes has entered into an agreement to acquire Rossway, Swan, Tierney, Barry & Oliver, P.L., a full-service law firm with offices in Melbourne, Vero Beach, and Miami. The February 1, 2026 acquisition strengthens Lowndes' capabilities in business law, real estate, litigation, family law, and estate planning while positioning the firm as one of Florida's most comprehensive legal practices. Orlando to Host Major League Volleyball All-Star Match
The Greater Orlando Sports Commission secured the 2026 MLV All-Star Match at the Addition Financial Arena on March 28, bringing national CBS television coverage to Orlando. The home of defending league champions Orlando Valkyries will showcase the nation's top volleyball players, reinforcing the city's reputation as a premier sports destination and celebrating the extraordinary growth of women's volleyball. Orlando Magic Partners with ARDA to Celebrate Timeshare Industry
The Orlando Magic announced a multiyear partnership with ARDA, connecting Central Florida's tourism economy and the timeshare industry. Purple Pride 5K Returns to Inter&Co Stadium in February
Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride are bringing back the annual Purple Pride 5K on February 7 at 8 AM. Runners will start on Church Street, pass through Creative Village, and finish on the pitch inside Inter&Co Stadium, followed by a post-race festival with food trucks, live music, beer, and interactive games.
