Steinmetz Hall Named One of World’s Top Theaters
National Geographic has named Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts one of the world’s most remarkable theaters, highlighting its world-class acoustics and design. The Orlando venue, already recognized by Architectural Digest as one of the most beautiful theaters globally, earned praise for its N1 acoustic rating and its ability to transform for different types of performances. Orlando Enters Bid to Host 2031 Men’s Rugby World Cup
Orlando is among 27 U.S. cities in contention to host matches for the 2031 Men’s Rugby World Cup, with proposed venues including Camping World Stadium and Inter&Co Stadium. The Greater Orlando Sports Commission submitted the bid as part of the international host selection process announced by World Rugby on October 31. Over the next 14 months, World Rugby and USA Rugby will evaluate applicant cities before announcing final host selections following the 2027 Rugby World Cup, positioning Orlando as a strong contender for one of the world’s largest sporting events.
