2025 Bike to Work Day is TOMORROW
Join City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer for the 24th annual Bike to Work Day and pedal your way through downtown Orlando as we celebrate Florida Bike Month! This free event starts with check-in at 7am at Luminary Green Park, where Mayor Dyer will kick off the group ride at 8am and end at Orlando City Hall. A limited number of e-bikes will also be available for those who want to participate but do not own a bike.

Lunch & Learn: Curating Orlando Collected
The History Center has garnered a reputation for creating award-winning exhibitions, and their upcoming offering, Orlando Collected, is sure to be no exception. Curator of exhibitions, Katie Kelley, gives a behind-the-scenes look at this special exhibition, which marks Orlando’s 150th Anniversary by featuring 150 of the most fascinating and rarely seen items from their collection. Tickets are $12 for History Center Members with lunch or $17 for the general public with lunch. Tickets must be ordered before 9am on Thursday, April 3, 2025 to include lunch. Register here today!

United Arts Launches New Hub for Finding Local Artists!
United Arts of Central Florida just revealed a new platform for artists to showcase their skills and offerings in an effort to be hired by local organizations, businesses, and private events. Local creatives are able to sign onto the new Artist Hub to create a free profile and select events industries including Workshop Facilitators, Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Literary Arts, and Circus Arts. Queen of the Highwaymen: A Retrospective Exhibition of Mary Ann Carroll
The City of Orlando presents Mary Ann Carroll: Queen of the Highway, a retrospective exhibition celebrating the life and work of Mary Ann Carroll (b. 1940–d. 2019), the only female artist in Florida's renowned Highwaymen group. The Highwaymen, a collective of 26 African American artists, created and sold vibrant landscape paintings, overcoming racial and economic barriers to gain recognition. This exhibition, at Orlando City Hall’s Terrace Gallery, is the first solo show dedicated to Carroll’s extraordinary work and a public viewing will be available on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 6-8pm. Click here to learn more about Mary Ann Carroll's legacy.

The Downtown Orlando Partnership and the Downtown Development Board partnered with Parramore District to highlight its historic buildings, signature restaurants, and community impact in the latest additions to our social media series, "Downtown Voices." Hear from Kenneth Hughes, Executive Director of the Parramore District, in our first video as he discusses the district’s mission of historic preservation and its dedication to promoting meaningful community engagement. DOP MEMBERSHIP UPDATE
To ensure we can continue providing the high-quality services and ever-improving member experience you've come to expect, we will be implementing a modest fee increase, effective April 1, 2025 for new members. All existing membership rates will remain the same until 2026. This change will yield enhanced membership benefits and opportunities. Thank you for your continued partnership.
