DTO BUSINESS NEWSSWAN Shuttle Coming to Creative Village! 🦢Yesterday, DOP hosted the Creative Village Autonomous Vehicle Pilot Luncheon, sponsored by UCF Downtown. At the event, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announced the launch of the City of Orlando's SWAN Shuttle, which stands for Shuttle With Autonomous Navigation, powered by Beep technologies, on August 20th! The SWAN Shuttle is a free, autonomous vehicle shuttle that will carry passengers on a continuous loop from Lynx Central Station through Creative Village on the LYMMO Orange Line during off-peak hours. In partnership with Lynx, the shuttle will be tested in Creative Village from August 2023 through April 2024. If successful, the pilot could be expanded throughout the city into areas like SODO or Ivanhoe Village. Click here to read the full article from yesterday's luncheon, and view the route and times of operation here!
