The Downtown Orlando Partnership is deeply saddened by the passing of Thomas Chatmon, Executive Director of the Downtown Development Board and Community Redevelopment Agency. A true champion of downtown Orlando, his unwavering dedication and passion for our downtown left an indelible mark on all of us. During this difficult time, our hearts go out to Thomas' family, friends, and colleagues. We share in your grief and offer our sincerest condolences.

UCF Football Moves to Big 12 Conference
This morning Mayor Dyer, City Commissioners, and UCF Football head coach Gus Malzahn raised the Knights' flag over City Hall to recognize the program's move to the Big 12 Conference. Over the past few years, all of UCF's athletics programs have experienced great success and progress, providing our community with unforgettable moments. The Knights have earned their status among the country's premier programs and continue to show that the future of college sports is right here in Orlando. OUC's EV Charging Superhub Grand Opening
On Tuesday, July 25th, OUC - The Reliable One hosted a grand opening ceremony for the Robinson Recharge Mobility Hub, one of the largest electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the state. Mayor Dyer, and Commissioner Regina Hill joined OUC Board President Britta Gross and OUC General Manager & CEO Clint Bullock for the official opening and ribbon cutting of the new charging station. Located on 129 W. Robinson St. in downtown Orlando, the facility features 20 high-speed EV chargers that can be used for all makes of EVs. The hub also includes 22 level-3 speed chargers, allowing for vehicles to get fully charged in 60 minutes or less. Learn more here!

NFL Pro Bowl Games returns to Orlando in 2024
The annual NFL Pro Games will return to Orlando on February 4, 2024 at Camping World Stadium. The multi-day AFC vs. NFC competition will feature new and returning skills challenges, where 88 of the league's top players showcase their football and non-football skills in unique competitions, and culminate in action-packed flag football games. In addition to hosting more than 200,000 total visitors at Camping World Stadium, Orlando also saw hundreds of thousands of visitors enjoy Pro Bowl Week festivities throughout the region during the event's previous run in Central Florida, with an overall economic impact in the hundreds of millions. Click here to see when tickets go on sale!
