CRA Special Events Grant ProgramThe downtown Orlando Community Redevelopment Agency's CRA's Special Events Grant Program supports diverse arts and cultural opportunities to encourage a variety of entertainment within the area. The purpose of the program is to provide funding though grants to support events that promote the goals and objectives of the CRA's Redevelopment Plan for the area. Events held in the downtown area will serve to bring together a wide variety of people, both locally and nationally, to experience engaged programming that will help to build social connections and strengthen the economic development of the are. Applications are open now for events taking place November 2023 - April 2024. The program is presented as part of the library's 100 Year Celebration, and will be held at Steinmetz Hall in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
