Women in the Arts Awards
Women in the Arts, Inc. presents the 12th annual "Celebrating the Genius of Women" competition at the Orlando Public Library, in honor of Women's History Month on Saturday, March 25, at 2pm. The event will start in the main lobby for guests to meet the artists and participate in an interactive gallery walk followed by an awards ceremony. Find out which pieces will win the Patron's Choice Award and Women in the Arts awards. You are invited to decide the winner of this year's Women in the Arts Patron's Choice Award by voting either in person or online from March 10-18. Queen of the Road: 2023 Jersey Reveal Event, presented by Orlando Health
At the intersection of soccer and art you will find the 2023 Orlando Pride jersey reveal, presented by Orlando Health on March 2 at 6pm. Come for an upscale evening of soccer and art, featuring the jersey reveal, live art displays, interactive photo opportunities, and a celebration of an iconic Florida artist. Admission is complimentary, RSVP is required. Recommended dress is “soccer chic.”

Central Florida Walk to Defeat ALS
Join the Walk to Defeat ALS presented by Orlando Health on Saturday, March 18, from 8am-12pm at Lake Eola Park. The Walk to Defeat ALS is the #1 way to unite and fundraise for those living with ALS. Each year, fundraising through the Walk drives bold and urgent innovation as supporters march together toward a cure for ALS. Your participation in the Walk to Defeat ALS has a direct impact on people living with ALS and their families at the local level. Through education, support groups, access to care and advocacy, The ALS Association is working to defeat ALS and provide hope to people living with ALS and their families. Click here to learn more and register for free.

City of Orlando Bike to Work Day 2023
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will pedal into work on Friday, March 31 as part of the city’s annual tradition of hosting Bike to Work Day events. Riders will meet at 7am at Lake Lorna Doone Park, then head out at 8am on a police-escorted group ride through Creative Village and on to City Hall. A Bike to Work Day celebration will be set up at City Hall Plaza at 8am for downtown workers to learn more about the city’s bike projects and connect to local organizations, like Bike Walk Central Florida and the Orlando Bike Coalition.  Free, all-day parking is available at Lake Lorna Doone Park. Group bike rides will be led back to Lake Lorna Doone Park at 9:30am, 5pm, and 5:30pm. Register here and get ready to cycle in the city!
