Dedication of Luminaries
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 5 Commissioner Regina I. Hill invite you to the Dedication of Luminaries on Friday, February 3, from 5:45-6:45pm at Luminary Green Park in Creative Village. First Saturdays, History Alive! Celebrating Community
The first Saturday of every month, the past comes alive at the Orange County Regional History Center! From 11am until 2pm on February 4th, visitors can engage with history through interactive experiences and themed hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy. African American Read-In
Join the Orange County Library System for their 33rd Annual National African American Read-In on Sunday, February 5, from 2-3:30pm. Celebrate African American literature in poetry, story, and song, performed by local luminaries. City of Orlando's Black History Month Signature Event
Join the City of Orlando for their annual Black History Month Signature Event celebrating the remarkable contributions and positive influence of Black Americans in the Central Florida community on Wednesday, February 8, from 6-8:30pm at Camping World Stadium. This free event will also include a keynote address from Jasmine Burney-Clark, Founder of Equal Ground Education Fund and Action Fund, the City of Orlando’s Poet Laureate Shawn Welcome, live entertainment by local performers, music by DJ Dalastmo, and delicious food! Click here to learn more and reserve your spot!

Voices of Freedom: An Evening of Spoken Word
Join the Dr. Phillips Center in celebrating African American artists with the first show in their Freedom Series on Friday, February 10th, at 7pm. The experience will feature Orlando's Poet Laureate, Shawn Welcome, and emerging local high school talents for a rarely seen and heard 90-minute interactive showcase that will solidify the definition of spoken word poetry. Click here to learn more and RSVP for this free event.

Country Superstar Luke Bryan Announces 'Country on Tour'
Five-time American Country Music (ACM) Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan and special guests announced their 2023 tour dates, including Orlando's Amway Center on Thursday, October 5th. During his illustrious and decorated career, Bryan has worked diligently to build a highly-active and loyal fan base one fan at a time. Much credit can be given to him and his team for creating unique concert experiences for him to engage with and garner fans. No other country artist can boast multiple, highly-successful events and tours like Bryan, so don't miss out on the opportunity to see him at the Amway Center for the first time since 2015! Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 3 at 10am.
