The library traces its history to the early 1920s, when the Sorosis Club of Orlando began a campaign to advocate for a taxpayer-funded public library to serve Orlando citizens. Their efforts were successful, and on November 8, 1923, the Albertson Public Library opened its doors. Over the years, that single library evolved to become what is today the Orange County Library System. After the ribbon cutting, guests can enjoy 1920s music from a local band, non-alcoholic cocktails, and more! Click here to see the event's full agenda.
