Orlando Museum of Art Hosts a Free Evening Lecture
The Orlando Museum of Art and the Ismaili Council of Florida invite you to join Farrokh Derakhshani, Director for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture (AKAA), to discuss the role of Architecture in improving quality of life, addressing social inequality and climate change. Orlando Museum of Art Florida Prize in Contemporary Art on View Through August 14
Orlando Museum of Art congratulates Jared McGriff for winning this year's Florida Prize, Hiromi Moneyhun for winning the People's Choice Award, and all 10 participating artists for being a part of this year's selection. The Florida Prize in Contemporary Art is organized by the Orlando Museum of Art to bring new recognition to the most progressive artists in the State. Each year OMA's curatorial team surveys artists working throughout the state before inviting ten to participate. One artist will receive a $20,000 award made possible with the generous support of local philanthropists Gail and Michael Winn. Don't miss out on the display of this year's participating artists!
