Kids Beating Cancer Gala
The Hats & Heroes Ball on September 10th will bring you the Best of the Best. Celebrate 30 years of Kids Beating Cancer with entertainment from the Best of Us, while raising the critically needed funds to bring the discoveries for tomorrow’s cures while saving children’s lives today. Orlando Museum of Art Hosts a Free Evening Lecture
The Orlando Museum of Art and the Ismaili Council of Florida invite you to join Farrokh Derakhshani, Director for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture (AKAA), to discuss the role of Architecture in improving quality of life, addressing social inequality and climate change. The lecture will take place at the Orlando Museum of Art on August 12th at 6pm with a reception in the museum's rotunda after the program. RSVP for the lecture here.

Art After Dark is Back!
Art After Dark is the Downtown Arts District's semi-formal soiree for young professionals. The celebration, presented by Orlando Health, will take place at CityArts, August 13, 7pm-10pm. Guests will enjoy six different galleries, interactive art experiences, meet and greet opportunities with special guest artists, live music, photo opportunities, a silent auction, craft cocktails, and gourmet lite bites from local restaurants. Monster Jam Returns to Orlando's Camping World Stadium
Monster Jam announces their return to Orlando's Camping World Stadium on Saturday, October 29th. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Monster Jam features world-class athletes locked in intense competitions of speed and skill. Fans may sign up for free to become a Monster Jam Preferred Customer and get exclusive access to the pre-sale, or get tickets on August 9th at 10am.

Orlando Museum of Art Florida Prize in Contemporary Art on View Through August 14
Orlando Museum of Art congratulates Jared McGriff for winning this year's Florida Prize, Hiromi Moneyhun for winning the People's Choice Award, and all 10 participating artists for being a part of this year's selection. The Florida Prize in Contemporary Art is organized by the Orlando Museum of Art to bring new recognition to the most progressive artists in the State. Each year OMA's curatorial team surveys artists working throughout the state before inviting ten to participate. One artist will receive a $20,000 award made possible with the generous support of local philanthropists Gail and Michael Winn. Don't miss out on the display of this year's participating artists!
