Orlando Fire Department Change of Command CeremonyThe Honorable Mayor Buddy Dyer cordially invites you to attend the Orlando Fire Department Change of Command Ceremony for newly appointed Fire Chief Charlie Salazar on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in the Pugh Theater. Please RSVP by Wednesday, July 20, 2022. RSVPs are not required, but are encouraged. An RSVP does not guarantee a seat. If you cannot attend, but would like to view the ceremony online, it will be available for viewing here. RSVPs are not required if you plan to stream the ceremony live online.

Special Event Grants Program - Applications Open!
The CRA’s Special Event Grants Program supports diverse arts and cultural opportunities to encourage a variety of entertainment within the area. The purpose of this program is to provide funding through grants to support events that promote the goals and objectives of CRA’s Redevelopment Plan for the area, the DTOutlook. Events held in the downtown area serves to bring together a wide variety of people, both locally and nationally, to experience engaged programming that will help to build social connections and strengthen the economic development of the area. Applications are now open for events taking place November 2022 - April 2023. Applications close on August 1 at 11:59 pm EST.
