This week, we concluded the 2022 Class of ConnectDTO. The "Downtown Horizons" session highlighted the innovation and development of Creative Village. Community leaders, Thomas C. Chatmon Jr., Dr. Eugene Jones, Brooke Myers, Craig Ustler, and Dr. Ross Wolf, joined our panel to discuss Creative Village’s history and the impactful partnerships that enrich the community.

Visit Orlando Recognized as one of 2022 Top 100 Women-Led Businesses
Visit Orlando was recently named one of the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses at The Commonwealth Institute of Florida's 17th annual luncheon. President and CEO of Visit Orlando, Casandra Matej, accepted the award. This award recognizes workplace diversity, innovative programming, customer benefits, and more. Several companies across a range of industries including hospitality, healthcare, technology, and education were awarded. DOP is honored to have Casandra serve on our Board of Directors. Amway Center Events Included in Freedom Week Sales Tax Holiday
During the 2022 Freedom Week Sales Tax Holiday, consumers can purchase qualifying recreation and outdoor items and admissions to entertainment and cultural events exempt from sales tax. The sales tax holiday begins Friday, July 1 and extends through Thursday, July 7.

45th Annual Fireworks at the Fountain
Mayor Buddy Dyer is hosting this year's Fourth of July Fireworks at the Fountain at Lake Eola Park. Enjoy live entertainment, family fun, and vendors with an assortment of food and beverages. The firework spectacular will begin at 9:15pm, set to a live performance by the Orlando Concert Band.
