The holiday shopping season is upon us! Finish (or start) your holiday shopping at Discover Downtown. Throughout November and December, you are invited to stop by Discover Downtown’s pop-up shop every Friday from November 12 – December 17 (except November 26) between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and check out merchandise from local retailers not previously sold in the Discover Downtown retail store. Home for the Holidays Benefitting Kids Beating Cancer
Join Kids Beating Cancer on Saturday, December 4th and celebrate the start of the Holiday Season at the new JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa for a special 3-course gourmet holiday dinner, champagne, wine, and special holiday cocktails, while enjoying an uplifting holiday musical show by the Champagne Orchestra. Individual tickets and tables of 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 are available. Click HERE to purchase tables and tickets.

Fundraiser for JHenry's Barbershop
J. Henry’s Barber Shop caught fire at 10:54 p.m. Friday, November 12. The Orlando Fire Department believes the fire, which completely destroyed the barbershop, was the result of an electrical shortage as the result of an overloaded electrical outlet. The owner of J. Henry’s, John Henry, has since stated that he hopes to reopen again soon, though likely somewhere else nearby. You can help by making a donation here.
