UCF Receives Largest Gift in History
Philanthropist and author MacKenzie Scott and her husband, Dan Jewett, announced on Tuesday a $40 million unrestricted gift to UCF that will strengthen the university’s focus on fostering social mobility while developing the skilled talent needed to advance industry across our state and beyond. This is the largest gift to UCF in its 58-year history. Congratulations!

AdventHealth Opens New Unit
The new cardiopulmonary rehab and echo unit is now open at AdventHealth. The expanded cardiac and pulmonary services have been increased from 2- 3 days per week to 5 days per week, allowing flexibility for patients. This new space features new state-of-the-art equipment, as well as a dedicated classroom for education. Best of all, patients have a beautiful panoramic view of the lake!
ORMC Receives $5M Gift to Expand Trauma Center that Treated Pulse Victims
The Orlando Health Foundation announced on Friday that the donation to the Level One Trauma Center came from a person who wishes to remain anonymous. It's the largest gift ever given to Orlando Health ORMC. The gift will be used to purchase technology and update the functionality of the trauma bay to handle a surge of patients – a need recognized following the Pulse nightclub incident on June 12, 2016. After the expansion is finished, the center will double the size of the current space.

The tour kicks off in Santa Barbara, CA and includes a stop at Orlando's Amway Center on Saturday, October 9. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 18 at 10 a.m. ET.
