Join the History Center’s research librarian, Melissa Procko, for a discussion with journalists Desiree Stennett and Monivette Cordeiro of the Orlando Sentinel. They’ll discuss their careers, the most important stories they’ve investigated, and their thoughts on the future of journalism.

Diversitastic! Dining Experience

Each month FusionFest will offer patrons a chance to immerse themselves into exploring the tastes, sights, sounds and mindsets of another part of the world. Join for one or all of these great culinary and cultural immersions right here in Central Florida. You’ll receive a full meal, chef talk about the food and eating customs, entertainment, presentation, about the culture and more. The next session will be held in Downtown at Harp & Celt on Wednesday, March 31 at 7 PM. FusionFest will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day and showcasing Irish culture.

Hope Shines On
This week, AdventHealth launched the “Hope Shines On” campaign to mark the one-year anniversary of its first COVID patient, and honor the lives lost and those impacted by the pandemic. AdventHealth’s Central Florida facilities are lit blue nightly this week. The City of Orlando joined the remembrance efforts and local landmarks including the Lake Eola Fountain, Amway Center, and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts also featured blue lights. The community is invited to join the Hope Shines On campaign by sharing inspirational social media posts using #HopeShinesOn or sharing the Hope Shines On video.
