Giving Back.

This year on Giving Tuesday, AdventHealth announced a $1.9 million investment in 14 Central Florida organizations significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and those addressing mental health services, food insecurity, access to care and community development.

This unique take on Giving Tuesday was announced on Facebook Live by Daryl Tol, President and CEO of AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division, along with Rev. Mary Lee Downey, CEO of the Community Hope Center (one of the grant recipients).  The full list of grant recipients includes:

  • CARES Referral and Communication Management System
  • Habitat for Humanity of Greater Volusia County
  • The Open Door
  • Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center
  • Teen Challenge
  • One Heart for Women and Children
  • Bliss Cares
  • Adelantes Caminantes with Hope CommUnity Center
  • No Limit Unit with No Limit Health and Education
  • Fresh Stop Veggie Rx and Diabetes Prevention Program
  • Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness with Samaritan Resource Center
  • Creating a Circle of Security with Early Learning Coalition of Orange County
  • Dave’s House
