Soccer season is underway, basketball playoffs are underway, National Arena Football is kicking off, and talks continue for which cities will host the 2026 World Cup games. And that’s just in Orlando!

This is Not a Drill.
For the first time in seven seasons (think way back to the Superman Dwight Howard days) the Orlando Magic basketball team is heading to the NBA playoffs. Following a win on the road against the Boston Celtics, they earned their first Southeast Division title since 2010. Vucevic, Gordon, and Fournier are gearing up to hit the court against the Toronto Raptors in the first round. Meanwhile, the Orlando Solar Bears, ranked 2nd in the Southern Division, are on their way to the ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs for the fourth time in six years. Cheer on Brodsinski, Monfredo, and Thompson as they take on the South Carolina Stingrays in the first round on Friday, April 12 at the Amway Center. The former Arena League two-time champions, Orlando Predators, have reentered the playing field at Amway Center after a two-year hiatus. The newest expansion team to National Arena Football League kicks off their home opener against the Columbus Lions on  April 17 at 7:30 PM.

P.S. For the first time since 1994 the World Cup is heading back to North America. Orlando is still in the running to be one of 16 host cities for the biggest sporting event in the world, the 2026 World Cup.
